Cape Coral Police Department would like to inform the public that the roadways at Chiquita Blvd and Embers Pkwy (near Mariner High School) is completely submerged. Also, the roadways at Diplomat Pkwy and NW 5th Ave is submerged. Mainly the East and West bound lanes on Diplomat Pkwy. Please use an alternate route. There has been a public works request to the City of Cape Coral to put up cones and possibly flashing barricades to warn the public of the roadway hazard.
